Flamepaw jerked his head up. "Dingopaw?" He raced to the cave. Hesatation stopped him for a few seconds, but he shook off his fear and dashed inside.

Thunderpaw heard the scream and was unconvinced. Dingopaw didn't seem like the kind of cat who would call for help, even if he was on the brink of death. Still, the gray tom listened outside the cave in case he was actually hurt.

Dingopaw watched as Flamepaw came and disappeared into the darkness with him. 'Ha ha, tricked him.' He thought and tiptoed away from where the flame-colored apprentice was. "However Thunderpaw's getting smarter, he actually didn't fall for it.' But Dingopaw didn't care if he didn't trick the other apprentice, Flamepaw was gullible enough.

Thunderpaw glanced around the clearing in annoyance. "Hey Dingopaw, thanks for scaring off all the pray!" he hissed loudly, not particularly caring if he was close enough to hear.

Dingopaw rolled his eyes at Thunderpaw's comment. Then, deciding that if he let Flamepaw find him unhurt, it would mess up his little prank. He sniffed, and found where the fiery apprentice was. Once located, he pounced on him, and tried to pretend to be a snake.

Flamepaw halted, suddenly uneasy. He hadn't thought when he ran in, and now he was regretting going in. The more he thought about it, the more Flamepaw was certian that Dingopaw was faking. Dingopaw had been in trouble before, and he hadn't screamed like that. Flamepaw started going towards the cave entrance, but was jumped on. He rolled onto his back, and started clawing for his life.

"Ow, you don't have to rip me to shreads." DIngopaw mewed, jumping off Flamepaw. He leaned down to lick one scratch inflicted on his front right foreleg, but didn't.

Flamepaw hissed, getting up and glaring at Dingopaw. "Serves you right!" he seethed, licking his paw akwardly. "Now, come on, let's get out of here before a snake finds us."

Dingopaw rolled his eyes again. Why couldn't Flamepaw or Thunderpaw ever take a joke? He brushed roughly past the flame-color tom towards the entrance, stopping to face him, his dark ginger pelt shining from the light outside. "There aren't that many snakes in here during the day anyway, I havn't seen or heard a single one since I've been in he-" He suddenly broke off as he felt sharp pain on his hind leg. He flinched as pain shot up his leg. Glancing down, DIngopaw caught sight as a skinny tail disappeared into the darkness.
OOC: Do cats normally die from snakebites?

OOC: I don't know. If it is not treated right away.

OOC: Depends if it's poisonous or not. If its not poisonous it will just bleed, like a cut. If it is then they might, depends on the kind of snake.
BiC: Thunderpaw wondered what was taking them so long. There was no chance of catching anything now, but he didn't want to search for the others in a cave full of snakes. The dark tom padded back and forth, unsure what to do.

OOC: Mkay, I don't want him to be in the medicine den for moons, so it won't be a poisonous one.
BIC: DIngopaw padded out of the den, limping slightly on his hind leg. It was bleeding heavily, but DIngopaw didn't feel dizzy as if poison had been injected. Hopefully Cometstreak would be at camp when they got back.

Flamepaw came running out of the cave after Dingopaw. "Come on, let's get back to camp." he murmured, glancing at his bitten friend. *I hope it's not poisonous* Flamepaw thought.

Thunderpaw looked a little worried when the two apprentices came out, but quickly went back to being annoyed. "Oh great, now we have to take you all the way back to camp, and probably get yelled at for not catching any prey," he grumbled.

"Catch some mouse-dung prey already then. I can go back myself." Dingopaw snorted, flicking his tail in annoyance. He brushed past Thunderpaw, leaving the two apprentices behind him. He didn't care if they followed him or not, he wasn't feeling dizzy, he could make it back.
